I've been thinking a lot lately about Christmas wreaths, not just because the season is nearly here, but because this year, they feel bigger, bolder and more expressive than ever.
If you’ve seen the statement wreath on the front of our shop, you’ll know exactly what I mean, full of texture, dramatic colour and designed to turn heads. That’s the direction so many of you are heading in this year: not just decorating your doors, but making a real statement with them.
🌟 Bold is Back
From vivid velvets and oversized bows to metallics, feathers and rich, layered textures, bold colours are everywhere this year. Deep magentas, burnt orange, emerald, peacock blue and even flashes of gold and copper are being embraced. It’s unapologetically festive, but with a real sense of personality and fun.
For those who love a maximalist moment, this is your year to go all out, the more texture, depth and drama, the better.
🌸 Still Room for Softness
That said, soft pinks, blush tones and frosted pastels still have their place, and they continue to be popular with those looking for a gentler, more romantic take on Christmas. We’ve seen beautiful combinations of pale rose with snowy whites and silver-grey foliage that create a truly elegant feel, especially for interiors.
🌿 Natural, As Ever
And of course, the natural, traditional palette will always have its place. Think fresh pine, eucalyptus, cones, dried fruit, berries and raffia, rustic tones that speak to sustainability, simplicity and timeless charm. Whether you're hanging it on a cottage door or a modern hallway, it just works.
